Enjoy an afternoon of jazz with the Rick Olivarez Trio at Albemarle CiderWorks.

The Rick Olivarez Trio captures the sound of Gypsy jazz guitar legend Django Reinhardt as well as showcasing folk songs from the Eastern European tradition and unique original tunes. Featuring Rick Olivarez and Jeff Cheers on guitars and Dave Berzonsky on bass.

Rain or shine, no cover charge, cider and light picnic fare available.
Dogs welcome outdoors on leash.
No outside alcohol, please.

2019 Hard Cider Run

Rock 3.1 miles through the beautiful orchard before welcoming spring with friends, hard cider, and fun!

Dash through orchards and fields in pursuit of a yummy glass of hard cider at Albemarle CiderWorks! Participants of The Hard Cider Run will enjoy a picturesque 5K run before enjoying a complimentary glass of the good stuff. In addition to one free hard cider, you will receive:

-Entry to the 5K run or walk
-An ultra-soft t-shirt that's perfect for the warmer spring days
-2019 finisher's medal complete with bottle opener
-Commemorative bib
-Chip timing with text/email notifications
-Commemorative glass filled with tasty craft hard cider
-Free race photos
-Free parking at the orchard

Join us on April 13, after the Hard Cider Run, for our annual Blossom Festival! Ragged Mountain String Band will be providing the tunes and Clover Top Creamery will be providing goats for cuddling! Local craft and food vendors will also be on hand.

The festival kicks off at 2pm. See you there!

Enjoy this energetic and eclectic Irish jam session at Albemarle Ciderworks, every 2nd Sunday of the month: Patrick & Aaron Olwell and Friends play their fine renditions of traditional tunes from 2:30-5:00 pm.

Cider and snacks available for purchase, or bring a picnic.  No outside alcohol.  All music rain or shine in the tasting room or on the patio.  Leashed pets outside only.

Sue Harlow is an Americana-Folk Singer/Songwriter whose haunting vocals delve into the depths of what makes people real...emotions, losses, loves, and hopes. Sue's songs draw on the particular part of the Americana genre that tells stories of how it really is, and really was, and touches on the places in people's lives that they can relate to.

Mojo Pie

Join Mojo Pie, also known as local songwriters Susan Munson and Frank Bechter, for an afternoon of live and local music.

MoJoPie was created when Susan Munson invited Frank Bechter to a songwriters workshop, and they've been bringing harmonies to wineries, restaurants and events in Central Virginia ever since. Happy to be returning to Albemarle Ciderworks, both have been featured artists in Charlottesville's First Night Virginia and Jason Burke's Six-Pack Songwriter Series, and they make up 2/3 of the acoustic trio Oh Wow Boy. Susan also rocks many a stage with Alligator, Jeebus, and Mama Tried, as does Frank with Das Homage, The Good Guys, and Her Checkered Past.

2:30-4:30 pm, no cover charge.  Cider and light fare available for purchase. Leashed pets allowed outside on the patio.

Taste Of North Garden Winemaker's Dinner

Please join us Tuesday, April 30th for this year’s Taste of North Garden, which will be an intimate dinner paired with fine wines from Wisdom Oak Winery, Loving Cup Vineyard & Winery and Albemarle Ciderworks.  We will enjoy appetizers and a delicious 4 course meal prepared by the team at Kitchen Catering + Events with a guided tour of the wines by the Winemakers from each winery.  They will discuss how the wines were produced and why they were chosen to pair with the selected course.  The evening promises to be full of great food, wine and friends!  
 
Reservations are $65/person and include gratuity and tax.  Please purchase your tickets by Thursday, April 25th to get your name on the guest list. If there are other guests you would like to be seated with or if you have any food restrictions, please let us know in advance.
