ADAR Duo
ADAR Duo

Powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Adar is based out of Charlottesville, Virginia and formed her band, ADAR, in the summer of 2016. The band quickly gathered an enthusiastic following with their compelling original songs and charismatic performances. ADAR draws from a deep well of original compositions and introduces new takes on covers that transcend genres including Soul, Funk, Jazz, Rock and more.

ADAR has become an integral part of the Central Virginia music scene, and within their first year, played alongside two-time Grammy nominated band SOJA at The Jefferson Theater​​​​. They’ve performed​​ at music festivals throughout Virginia, some of which have hosted three-time Grammy Award winning band Snarky Puppy, The Hackensaw Boys, The Steel Wheels, The War on Drugs, Sister Sparrow and The Dirtybirds, Larry Keel, Carl Anderson, and many more.

Cider and snacks available for purchase, or bring a picnic. No outside alcohol. All music rain or shine in the tasting room or on the patio.

Leashed pets outside only.

Help us celebrate 10 years of making fine Virginia cider!

The party starts at 1pm with a whole pig roast from Piedmont Smokehouse. We'll have hayrides on the mountain (a can't miss event, usually reserved for the Harvest Festival), lawn games, and live music from Tara Mills & Jimmy Stelling. We'll also be releasing two new ciders!

We're the oldest operating cidery in Virginia; come party with us!

Enjoy this energetic and eclectic Irish jam session at Albemarle Ciderworks, every 2nd Sunday of the month: Patrick & Aaron Olwell and Friends play their fine renditions of traditional tunes from 2:30-5:00 pm.

Cider and snacks available for purchase, or bring a picnic.  No outside alcohol.  All music rain or shine in the tasting room or on the patio.  Leashed pets outside only.

C'ville Jazz Congregation

The C'ville Jazz Congregation is a collective of local musicians that have been playing together since 2005. In their duo configuration you will hear your favorite jazz standards in a new light as they explore the unbound freedoms that only the intimate conversations held in this smaller setting can produce."  Join them at Albemarle CiderWorks for an afternoon of great cider and jazz. 

Music from 2:30-4:30 p.m., this event is free and open to the public.  Cider and snacks available for purchase, or bring a picnic.  Pets welcome outside on leash.

Alice Clair
Alice Clair

Alice Clair is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, mandolinist, and more. You can find her performing solo, with her folk rock group, and jamming with The BLNDRS. 

Alice is currently a sound engineer for WTJU 91.1 fm and a DJ on WXTJ 100.1 fm. She is a managing partner of The Blenders LLC, and helped to organized Femme Funk in late 2017, a benefit that helped to raise over $1,40o for the Shelter for Help in Emergency.

She worked at Blue Star Music for 5 years repairing and restoring instruments like guitars, violins, and even accordions. She is also a student at the University of Virginia studying biology and music.
