Gina SobelGina Sobel
Gina Sobel is a genre chameleon. She’s a devoted multi-instrumentalist – virtuosic on flute and voice and just as expressive on sax and guitar, filled with energy and improvisational spirit. Gina’s composition takes two main directions. She writes songs with piercing lyrics and soaring vocal melodies, as well as jazz tunes that bring in elements of funk, modal jams and found sounds. She pulls these two sides together with her rock band Gina Sobel and the Mighty Fine. Gina also leads a jazz quartet (the Sobel 4tet) and plays as a solo artist and in a number of other groups.

The BLNDRSThe BLNDRS
The BLNDRS combine classic and original rock with an eclectic flair and vibrant stage presence. Since the band’s conception in 2015, The BLNDRS have played regularly at venues throughout central Virginia. With their fun, inventive style, it is easy to sit and reminisce about your favorite bands like the Grateful Dead, Ween, or Wilco, but just as easy to hop onto the dance floor and rock to their fresh and original jams! Betwixt a power quad of songwriting and musical talent, it is no overstatement to call The BLNDRS revolutionary – as diverse in sound as their audiences are in taste, The BLNDRS do not fail to provide a musical experience accessible to all. The BLNDRS released their self-titled EP in June of 2017 and are currently working on their first full length album to be released in the spring of 2019. Stay tuned! Alice Clair: guitar, vocals Tommy Proutt: bass, vocals Ben Smith: drums, vocals Nate Smith: guitar, vocals www.theblndrs.com Cider and snacks available for purchase, or bring a picnic.
