The Cidery/Winery COMEDY TOUR at Albemarle CiderWorks

After the year we've all had...you deserve a drink...and a laugh!

Join us Thursday, November 4th as we partner with Herron Comedy to bring you a lineup of stellar comedians from across the country! Don't miss your chance to rub shoulders (figuratively speaking, of course) with entertainers whose credits include festivals, major clubs, and even television appearances!

Gather the entire family and enjoy a night of laughs in the Orchard. Come early for a cider tasting or enjoy a glass of your favorite throughout the show.

Advance tickets are on sale now! Tickets will also be available at the door for $20 space permitting.

This stop is set to feature a lineup whose credits include top festivals, TV, and major club appearances. This comedy tour takes top comedians who you've seen on TV and sends them out on the road to perform at breweries throughout the country. Cider & Chocolate Pairing w/ Taylor Made Chocolate What is the best way to experience cider? With food! In this case...with dessert! Join us for an afternoon of culinary discovery with our friends at Taylor Made Chocolate. Try one-of-a-kind truffles created using two of our ciders; Cidermaker's Choice #6 and Old Virginia Winesap. Learn the ins and outs of truffle making and food pairing directly from the experts. The pairing will be served as a flight and Taylor Made will be set up in the Orchard Room from 2-5pm. Truffles will also be available for purchase in 4-pack gift sets.

Live Music: Old Soul Duo

Jon Spear and Dara James – also known as Old Soul – are a pair of award-winning singer/songwriters who use their formidable guitar, harmonica and vocal skills to perform a variety of songs in the blues, folk, and classic rock genres along with, of course, original songs.  In 2019 the pair competed in the prestigious 35th International Blues Challenge in Memphis where they were semi-finalists.

Reservations are encouraged if you'd like a table. Otherwise, bring some chairs or a blanket and stake out a spot.

Cider-Sangria Sundays Celebrate the Kick-Off of Virginia Cider Week with a beverage staple: the cocktail. Don't miss this chance to add a new cider-centric beverage to your mixology toolbelt. We've developed a slew of Cider Sangrias to excite your tastebuds. From mimosas to craft creations, there is something for every palate. This Week's Menu:

2nd Sunday Irish Music

Enjoy this energetic and eclectic Irish jam session at Albemarle CiderWorks, every 2nd Sunday of the month: Patrick & Aaron Olwell and Friends play their fine renditions of traditional tunes from 2:30-4:30 pm.

Virginia Cider Smackdown: Hewes Crab NOW A LATE-NIGHT EVENT! Smackdown is back...and it's better than ever! Spend the afternoon sniffing, swirling, and sipping your way through a blind tasting of single varietal Hewes Crab ciders from around Virginia.

Cider & Charcuterie Nothing pairs with cider like a cheese and charcuterie board. The trick to an exciting experience is variety (and of course some rudimentary design skills to make your board Insta-worthy).We've partnered with Kaas & Cure Board Co...and they've done all the hard work for you! Join us for a day of cider, cheese, and charcuterie carefully selected to create a culinary symphony.

• Tickets will be $25 and available for purchase the day of
• The curated tasting will include a cheese flight paired with 4 ciders

Live Music in the Orchard: Ragged Mountain String Band High energy old-time fiddle and banjo tunes, impassioned songs of life, love, lust, loss, and a lot more from the mountains of the Virginias and Carolinas. The fine gentlemen of Ragged Mountain String Band are heading our way! Join us for some of the finest pickin' and singin' this side of the Blue Ridge.

Live Music in the Orchard: Tara Mills

Grab a glass and join us for live music by Tara Mills!

Inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the rich musical traditions tied to them, Tara Mills describes her music as, "original mountain americana;" an original blend of folk, bluegrass, and americana.

Writing and singing most of her life, it wasn't long before Tara picked up a guitar and taught herself how to express the melodies in her head through her songs and hauntingly beautiful lyrics. Influenced by bluegrass, old country, and traditional mountain folk, she creates an original sound that captures true human feeling and emotion.

Based out of Charlottesville, VA, Tara plays and writes in a couple of different musical projects.
