Rain or Shine: Join us for one of the most anticipated festivals of autumn, the Apple Harvest Festival!  Hosted by the Cove Garden Ruritans and Vintage Virginia Apples at Rural Ridge Orchard in North Garden.

Visit with a number of vendors from the local farmers' market, enjoy hay rides over the mountain, cider tasting, and much more.  Live music all day.  Festival hours are 10-5, rain or shine.

Famous for your apple pie?  Enter it in the Apple Pie Contest!  Hosted by Vintage Virginia Apples and The Charlottesville Cooking School, this juried pie contest offers a first prize gift certificate of $100 to Vintage VA Apples.  Entries due by 11:30 the day of the festival.  All pies will be sold by the slice to benefit the charitable efforts of the Cove Garden Ruritans.
