Albemarle CiderWorks is turning 6!  Join us for a day filled with festivities, live music, and cider of course.

We'll be debuting our brand new blend, 1817, and for this one day only, you'll be able to taste it before you buy.  Based on a recipe in the historical text "A View of the Cultivation of Fruit Trees and the Management of Orchards and Cider," authored by William Coxe and published in the year 1817, this cider is comprised of a rich blend of 3 different classic cider apples.  A complimentary small bite will be offered to taste alongside the new blend.

Sample our array of ciders, old and new, and learn about the history of cider in America.  Enjoy games on the lawn and fresh fruit from the orchard, and cider sangria.  Zuzu's Hot 5 entertains in the Orchard Room from 3-5, and Morsel Compass Mobile Kitchen will be on hand with delicious local fare.
