Cider Tasting in the Local Food Project Garden

Join us Sunday, Sept. 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. as we welcome autumn at Airlie Center with Albemarle CiderWorks in the four-acre organic garden. Enjoy cider-inspired culinary creations from the talented culinary team, tastings from Albemarle Ciderworks, live music, and an afternoon enjoying Airlie's beautiful grounds. Hors d'oeuvres will be served in the LFP garden offering all an opportunity to walk the garden & newly planted orchard, see the 'Silkie' chickens in action, and learn about sustainable farming methods. Each adult ticket includes admission to the LFP garden & orchard, light hors d'oeuvres, cider tastings, two (2) glasses of Albemarle Ciderworks hard cider, and live music. Under 21 admission includes everything except for hard cider. Children 5 and under are complimentary- did we mention there's a corn maze!? Non-alcoholic sparkling cider available for all.
