To celebrate the end of Cider Week Virginia, Albemarle CiderWorks will host a special Open House all weekend long.

Come out Saturday and Sunday, 11-5, for cider tastings, flights, and more.  Our famous tastings of 6 different cider varietals and blends will include our historically-inspired 1817 blend, or try it as part of a Pick-Your-Own Cider Flight, comprised of 6 ciders of your choosing, both for this weekend only.

Ever wonder how we make our cider?  Join a tour of the cider building, held every hour on the hour, 12-4 pm.  Then head back to the Orchard Room and relax with a glass of cider and live music by blues man Bill Adams on Saturday and classical banjoist extraordinaire John Bullard on Sunday.  Pair your cider choice with a selection of our locally made picnic items for a special treat!
