To celebrate the end of Cider Week VA, Albemarle CiderWorks welcomes you out for a weekend of tastings and tours!

Join us Saturday November 19 for a demonstration of our cider press in the morning, and tours in the afternoon.  Taste our premium hard ciders, grab a mug of hot mulled cider to keep you warm, taste an array of apples, and relax to some live local music from 2:30-4:30.

Saturday night, we'll host the annual Cider Smackdown!  This blind tasting of ciders from near and far is always a fun event, and tickets will sell out, so reserve yours by calling 434 297 2326, or e-mailing fruit@albemarleciderworks.com. Tickets are just $15.

Sunday the fun continues with a very special apple tasting and tree catalog release.  If you've been thinking about growing your own fruit, now is the time to make a plan and pick out your trees.  Roughly two dozen different varieties from the catalog will be available for tasting, and our nursery experts will be on hand to answer questions and help with placing reservations.  The trees will be available to take home or have shipped starting in December.
