Tasting Room FAQs

1. What are your hours?

We are open year round.
Jan-Aug: Wednesday - Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
Sep-Dec: Every Day from 11am to 5pm.

2. Do I need a reservation?

We do not require a reservation. If you are coming with a group of 10 or more people, we ask that you call in advance so we can be prepared to properly serve you.

3. Do you give tours?

We do pre-scheduled tours on specific days.  Please see more information here. We also will open the cidery on special occasions like our Fall Harvest Festival or our Spring Blossom Festival.

4. What is your tasting fee?

Our tasting fee is dependent on how many cider varieties we currently have available in the tasting room. It usually ranges from $5-$10.

5. Can I bring outside alcohol?

Alcoholic beverages that are not purchased in our Tasting Room are NOT allowed. This is a violation of our Farm Winery License and not permitted by Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC).

6. Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are not allowed in the tasting room. We welcome well-behaved, leashed dogs on the patio or in the adjacent field. Please remember to pick up after your pet.

7. Do you sell food?

While we do not have a restaurant, we do sell some local foods a la carte. Please see list of what we have available here.

8. Can I bring my own food?

You are welcome to bring your own food.

9. Do you have Non-Alcoholic cider?

We produce a fresh pressed, unpasteurized cider in season (late fall to early spring). Please call ahead for availability. We also offer bottled water, juice boxes and sodas.

10. Do you sell apples?

We have a farm stand that sells apples and other seasonal fruit throughout the year. Unfortunately, we do not have a pick-your-own option.

11. Are you handicap accessible?

Our facilities are handicap accessible.

12. Can I buy cider online?

Selling alcohol online is a complicated process with rules and regulations that vary from state to state. Right now we do not offer the ability to buy cider online, but we work with several retailers who do! Check out the Where to Buy page to find stores that sell our cider as well as online options, or call us directly and we'll help you out.
