Albemarle CiderWorks Guidelines:
Albemarle CiderWorks management and staff are working to provide a safe and comfortable experience for all of their guests. We will be operating with the following limitations to maintain the safety of our staff and patrons:
Tables and chairs will be set on the lawn for guests to use. Feel free to bring chairs or a picnic blanket if you prefer. Our Orchard Room is open for limited seating for groups 6 and under. Larger groups will have to be seated outside.
Reservations are encouraged - call 434-297-2326 or make a reservation on OpenTable here. Reservations are held for 15 minutes after reservation time, then the table is opened up for walk-in seating. Reservations must be made before the day of your visit. There is walk-in seating available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The tasting room is open Daily, 11a-5pm.
Curbside pickup is still availableDaily, 11-5. Orders may be placed online at shop.albemarleciderworks.com or you can call 434-297-2326.
Masks – Our staff will be wearing masks. Guests are asked to wear a mask while using the restroom, interacting with our staff, or moving about the property.
Weather – We have limited indoor seating. In the case of inclement weather, we may not be able to fit all guests indoors. However, guests are welcome to sit in their vehicles until the inclement weather passes.
Food – We have a few a la carte menu items available including Caromont Farm chevre, Birdie's pimento cheese, Olli salami, Route 11 potato chips and various crackers. If you would like to bring a picnic from home, or take out from a restaurant, feel free to do so. We ask that you throw away all food trash in the receptacles provided.
Pets – Well-behaved, leashed pets are permitted outdoors on the patio or the lawn. Please remember to bring water bowls and other supplies for your pet. We will not be able to provide water bowls for pets.
Guests under 21 – We ask that parents or guardians keep children with them at all times and help children maintain social distance. We understand that our younger guests are used to being able to run around the lawn and enjoy the open space. In order to keep safe physical distance, we ask that parents and guardians keep children at their group’s designated table or area.
Orchard - We would like to remind guests that we are a working orchard. Please do not venture into the orchard while visiting.
Most of all, please be kind and respectful to other guests. We look forward to having you visit our tasting room!
