Open Wed-Sun, 11am-5pm
Our tasting room is situated among the rolling hills of Albemarle County, just South of Charlottesville, Virginia. The cidery and tasting room were designed and built in 2009. The buildings are designed in a simple straightforward style, with some arts and crafts touches in the tasting room including walnut wainscoting from trees cut on the property, and a curved bar of fiddleback maple that Chuck and his son Rob created. It's a comfortable place to experience a cider tasting, relax over a glass of cider, enjoy an a la carte picnic from our local food offerings or of your own, listen to live music, or host an event. We take special pleasure in presenting our fine ciders in conjunction with an introduction to the history of cider in America, and we are delighted to offer notes on food pairings as well. We look forward to your visit!
Stop By For Cider and More
Central Virginia is home to a wealth of delicious and locally made foods, and we are proud to offer a diverse sampling of these through our tasting room. Browse local cheeses from Caromont Farm, various flavors from Jam According to Daniel and Olli Salumeria, Virginia Ham from Edwards in Surry County, fresh baguettes from Albemarle Baking Company, "unhurried" potato chips from Rte. 11, and mouth-watering sweets from Cville Candy. Build your own picnic, or ask us for suggestions.
Host An Event Here
Beginning in the spring of 2013, we will be offering the tasting room for rentals for private events. The tasting room can accommodate 40--50 people comfortably. The patio can be tented to double that capacity.
