Come sip some cider and enjoy Live music. John Kelly is a Charlottesville-based singer songwriter with more than two decades of solo acoustic performing experience. He began his music career in his native Connecticut and played regularly there and in New York City before moving to Charlottesville, Virginia, Now a regular on the Central Virginia singer songwriter circuit, John has become known for his soulful voice and insightful original songs. In late 2019, he will release a new album, “In Between,” produced by Rusty Speidel and featuring a set of ten songs that cover a range of topics, from the complexities of the world we live in today to family and romantic love and more. “In Between” was engineered and mixed by James McLaughlin at Mountainview in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Friend Speed Dating: For WomenFriend Speed Dating: For Women
Come expand your social circle (and maybe meet a new bff)! This is a platonic version of speed-dating, where the only goal is to meet friends. All who are 21+ & identify as women are welcome to this inclusive experience! During this event, participants will rotate through a series of 4 minute conversations. Afterwards, there will be time to mingle and socialize with your new connections. When: Friday, June 7th, 2024 6 - 6:30pm: Doors open! Come grab a drink, make a friendship bracelet, and meet & greet

After the event: Mingle with your new connections! Hangout by the fire pits (weather permitting) Tickets $20 & include a drink. Group size is limited to 20 seats, and tickets must be bought in advance.

Enjoy this energetic and eclectic Irish jam session every 2nd Sunday of the month. Patrick & Aaron Olwell and friends play their fine renditions of traditional tunes all afternoon. - Light bites and hard cider will be available for purchase by the glass, bottle, or flight.

- ABC laws prohibit the consumption of outside alcoholic beverages

Solstice BonfireSolstice Bonfire
There's something so dreamy and ethereal about the Summer Solstice. It's the longest day of the year (for us here in the Northern Hemisphere), idyllic timing for a dusk bonfire with live music, friends and food. Come out the orchard for this free, after-hours event on Friday, June 21st from 7-9 to welcome in Summer. - Her Checkered Trio will be playing folk music live on the lawn all evening (you may have heard them before at the CiderWorks as "Her Checkered Past", but they become the Trio with addition of drum-player/ friend Forrest)
- Local food truck Arepas on Wheels will be on site offering their amazing Venezuelan options
- blooms4good "a squad a do-gooders" who grow flowers to raise funds for charitable organizations in the area will be selling blooms (all proceeds from their sales going to Cville's organization "International Neighbors" and Culpeper's shelter "SAFE")
- A bonfire will burn all evening - Come burn an intention for the second half of the year
- InCider members can pick up their Summer Shipment at the Bonfire!

Grab a glass and join us for live music by Jon Spear! Jon Spear is an award-winning singer/songwriter who uses his formidable guitar, harmonica and vocal skills to perform a variety of songs in the blues, folk, and classic rock genres along with, of course, original songs. In 2019 he partnered with Dara James to compete in the prestigious 35th International Blues Challenge in Memphis where they were semi-finalists. - Light bites and hard cider will be available for purchase by the glass, bottle, or flight.

Silent Book ClubSilent Book Club
Sip cider and read in quiet camaraderie. No assigned reading, no obligations. Bring your own book of choice. This is a free social event hosted in our Orchard Room. We are excited to be Charlottesville's second chapter of Silent Book Club, an international organization bringing bibliophiles together. From the official website of Silent Book Club: "At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... it's BYOBook. Our events are free and support local businesses. Friends and strangers gather at a set time and location, order food or drinks, share what they're reading, and settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the hour, attendees can socialize—or not! We started Silent Book Club because reading with friends enriches our lives and makes us happy. We love hearing about what people are reading (often in their other book clubs) and we think it's important to put down our phones and be social."
