Come Join us in the Orchard room for Music & Cider

Caroline Vain is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Richmond, VA. Caroline combines her experience as a fiddle player with indie rock elements to create a unique sound that is enticing to both listen to and watch.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances Melissa Hansen is unable to perform this Saturday. We look forward to having Melissa back with us to perform on the 19th of October. Don't miss our regularly scheduled Irish music is this Sunday the 11th.

Enjoy this energetic and eclectic Irish jam session every 2nd Sunday of the month. Patrick & Aaron Olwell and friends play their fine renditions of traditional tunes all afternoon.

• Light bites and hard cider will be available for purchase by the glass, bottle, or flight.
• Outside food is welcome; feel free to bring a picnic!
• ABC laws prohibit the consumption of outside alcoholic beverages

*Musicians will setup in the Orchard Room during inclement weather

Sip cider and read in quiet camaraderie. No assigned reading, no obligations. Bring your own book of choice. This is a free social event hosted in our Orchard Room.

We are excited to be Charlottesville's second chapter of Silent Book Club, an international organization bringing bibliophiles together.

"At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... it's BYOBook. Our events are free and support local businesses. Friends and strangers gather at a set time and location, order food or drinks, share what they're reading, and settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the hour, attendees can socialize—or not! 

We started Silent Book Club because reading with friends enriches our lives and makes us happy. We love hearing about what people are reading (often in their other book clubs) and we think it's important to put down our phones and be social."

Schedule:
12:30 Arrive early to order food/ drinks/ chat
1-2pm Reading
2-3pm Mingle (or keep reading)
