Ford Haitian Foundation - Cook Off!

Enjoy great food with friends, family and neighbors!

 Local Chefs from your community have come together to bring you the best in Caribbean cuisine!

wristbands will be available on our website from August 1st and will be sold at the door.

singular portions of the dishes will be available for purchase.

Every wristband and singular portion sold will benefit The Ford Haitian Foundation, an organization based out of North Garden, Virginia.

Doors will open at 12 noon.
Food for the cook off will be available from 12 noon until 3pm.
You will be able to vote for your favorite dish at the bar, then our
winners will be announced between 3:15pm and 3:30pm.

The Ford Haitian Foundation's mission is to gather support for the Institute Maranatha of Grison-Garde, or just Maranatha which is the name the Haitian people have given their huge project. It was dreamt of, created by and is maintained by the Haitians of that impoverished rural community. This includes a free health clinic with missions four times a year and an orphanage that provides free primary, secondary & vocational education to students, ranging in age from 3-35 years old.

"The sole function of our foundation is to offer what financial support is needed to help the Haitian community maintain their dream. We have been blessed with a totally dedicated and trustworthy Haitian Committee of Direction (all living in the community) that will not let their dream fail...pure and simple. "

Silent Auction & Raffle

Bidding starts at 12-noon, final bids must be made by 3pm. Winners must pay for & pick up their items from the silent auction area. Winners must pick up all items the before 4.30pm on the same day as the auction unless special arrangements are made with the Ford Haitian Foundation to collect later.

All proceeds will support the Ford Haitian Foundation, with a special thanks for that have donated.

Irish Music : Aaron Olwell & Friends Enjoy this energetic and eclectic Irish jam session every 2nd Sunday of the month. Patrick & Aaron Olwell and friends play their fine renditions of traditional tunes all afternoon.Light bites and hard cider will be available for purchase by the glass, bottle, or flight.
Outside food is welcome; feel free to bring a picnic!
ABC laws prohibit the consumption of outside alcoholic beverages. *Musicians will setup in the Orchard Room during inclement weather.
