HAWAII is a medium-sized, light-yellow skinned dessert apple from California. A Golden Delicious/Gravenstein cross. Eating quality is very similar to Golden's, but with a little more excitement in its flavor. Sunburns easily, so not well-suited to dwarf-sized trees. Ripens in September.
