Dani will walk you through her step-by-step process on how to assemble a beautiful date night cheese and charcuterie board. Your Ticket Includes:* - A spot for you and a friend to build one board together (serves 2).

A mobile cheese & charcuterie board trailer that is located on-site at cideries, wineries, special events, and more in the Central, VA area. Opened in 2009, Albemarle CiderWorks is the oldest operating cidery in the state. The Shelton family’s ciders bring the orchard to the glass through carefully selected apples, chosen from both their orchard and those in surrounding counties. They are focused on producing excellent dry ciders that pair well with food and recall the rich cider traditions of America.

Pruning WorkshopPruning Workshop
Careful pruning ensures a more bountiful harvest. Find out how much to prune, where to make the pruning cuts, and when it should be done. This class is structured to take orchardists from the planting of the nursery tree, through the early years of training and pruning, into lifetime maintenance and rejuvenation. We may even touch on bringing old or feral trees back into production. We'll cover basic pruning cuts and strategies, do's and don'ts, and tool selection and maintenance, all peppered with anecdotes from lifetime practitioners. For our stone fruit lovers (and growers) we have a few tips on pruning for you as well! The first portion of this class will be conducted indoors, followed by a foray into the orchard for live demos.* Sign up for this workshop to have your name entered in the drawing for the classroom demo tree!
