Live Music in the Orchard: Jackson, Pendergrass, and Townsend
Live Music in the Orchard: Jackson, Pendergrass, and Townsend Jackson, Pendergrass, & Townsend creates original music in the jazz/blues tradition. A 3-piece trio featuring Denise Jackson on vocals, Marcus Pendergrass on keys, and Kenneth Townsend on guitar, JPT is based in central Virginia and plays throughout the state.

JPT embraces and celebrates the diversity and breadth of America in our music. You will hear a Willie Dixon blues juxtaposed comfortably with a hit from Marvin Gaye. A Wayne Shorter instrumental complimenting a Hank Williams Sr. classic. And you will hear original music that incorporates all these influences, and more.

Reservations are encouraged if you'd like to secure a table inside by the fire or near an outdoor fire pit!

Live Music in the Orchard: The Pollocks
Live Music in the Orchard: The Pollocks

The Pollocks are led by Jason Pollock, former guitarist, and songwriter for Seven Mary Three. In the mid-1990s, Jason penned such hits as "Cumbersome" and "Water's Edge", sold a few million albums, and toured extensively.

Jason's new band was formed in 2014 when a friend told him that he needed to get back into the game. The music can best be described as American rock, with the right amount of soul: The Rolling Stones meets Jefferson Airplane. There's some Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and Neil Young thrown in for good measure.

Reservations are encouraged if you'd like to secure a table. Otherwise, we welcome you to bring chairs or blankets and claim your spot on the lawn!
