Solstice BonfireSolstice Bonfire
There's something so dreamy and ethereal about the Summer Solstice. It's the longest day of the year (for us here in the Northern Hemisphere), idyllic timing for a dusk bonfire with live music, friends and food. Come out the orchard for this free, after-hours event on Friday, June 19th from 6-9 to welcome in Summer - Her Checkered Past will be playing folk music live on the lawn all evening
- Arepas on Wheels will be offering their amazing Venezuelan options
- Nonprofit blooms4good will have flower crowns & bouquets available, all proceeds benefitting SARA & International Neighbors
- A bonfire will burn all evening - Come burn an intention for the second half of the year
- InCider Members can pick up their Summer Shipment at the Bonfire!
We can't wait to welcome in the second-half of the year with our community!
*Bonfire is fire safety dependent: If there is a high fire danger warning, the event will continue, but without a live fire. We love our community!

Live Music in the Orchard: Mojo PieLive Music in the Orchard: Mojo Pie
Grab a glass and join us for live music by Mojo Pie! Mojo Pie was created when Susan Munson invited Frank Bechter to a songwriters workshop, and they've been bringing harmonies to wineries, restaurants and events in Central Virginia ever since. Both have been featured artists in Charlottesville's First Night Virginia and Jason Burke's Six-Pack Songwriter Series, and they make up 2/3 of the acoustic trio Oh Wow, Boy! Susan also rocks many a stage with Alligator, Jeebus, and Mama Tried, as does Frank with Das Homage, The Good Guys, and Her Checkered Past

Silent Book Club 6/28/2026Silent Book Club 6/28/2026
Sip cider and read in quiet camaraderie. No assigned reading, no obligations. Bring your own book of choice. This is a free social event hosted in our Orchard Room. We are excited to be Charlottesville's second chapter of Silent Book Club, an international organization bringing bibliophiles together. From the official website of Silent Book Club: "At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... it's BYOBook. Friends and strangers gather at a set time and location, order food or drinks, share what they're reading, and settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the hour, attendees can socialize—or not!
Schedule: 12:30 Arrive early to order food/ drinks/ chat 1-2pm Reading Afterwards: Mingle (or keep reading)
You can read about the experience in Cville Weekly's "Tried it in Cville Column" thanks to talented local journalist Kristie! Please note: this event is not truly silent. Chips are eaten, pages are turned, soft instrumental music is played, and there are ambient bar sounds in the next room. Headphones are recommended if any of those noises will disrupt your read!
