Sat, 01/31/2026 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Join the Blue Ridge Irish Music School in celebration of the Celtic holidays of St. Brigid's Day and Imbolc, which signal the start of spring in the Celtic cycle of the seasons.

This family-friendly fire festival  honors St. Brigid, the Irish patron saint and goddess of fire, healing, poetry, domestic animals and spring and also celebrates the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox welcoming the first stirrings of spring.

There will be craft making (including St. Brigid's crosses) as well as music, songs and stories around the fire where we'll feast on bread, cheese, honey treats and cider.

Join us at this free, after-hours event on Friday, January 31st from 6.30-8.30pm to welcome in spring with fire and song.
