Apple Varieties Suitable for Southern Areas

Micro-climate, rootstock choice, spray regime, and many other factors can influence which varieties will grow well in a particular area.  That being said, below is a short list of varieties that have either originated in the South, or have been found to grow well in areas at least as warm as hardiness zone 7.
